Guest Authentication and Provisioning
  • RADIUS support - Guest Manager contains a RADIUS server and can be used to authenticate guests from any RADIUS capable network enforcement device, such as Wireless Controllers, Network Switches, Routers, Firewalls and Proxy Servers
  • Cisco NAC Appliance - Guest Manager can provision and manage guest and device accounts to the Cisco NAC Manager Appliance
  • Cisco ACS 5.x - Guest Manager can provision and manage device accounts to Cisco Access Control Servers running 5.0 and later
Time Based Accounts
  • Start/End - Allows Sponsors to define 'Start' and 'End' times for Guests account duration.
  • From Creation - Allows Sponsors to define a length of time for Guest access from the moment the account has been created.
  • From First Login - Allows Sponsors to define a length of time for Guests from their 'First Login'
  • Time Used - Allows Sponsors to create a time period during which a Guest user can login.
  • Time Restrictions - Allows the Sponsor to define when guests can or can not login, commonly used to block access out of office hours.
Guest Roles
  • Guest roles provide a way to give different levels of access to different guest accounts.
  • Specify different NAC Managers for which each guest account will be provisioned on.
  • Assign additional RADIUS attributes if Guests are authenticating on a RADIUS client device such as a Wireless LAN controller.
  • Allow access to guests from certain IP address ranges.
Guest Portal
  • Customized authentication pages—Allow guest portal pages to be located on the Guest Manager instead of on each captive portal device, providing a centralized location for configuration and display.
  • Guest Self Service—Allows guests to self register by entering their details to create their own guest accounts.
  • Credit Card Billing support—Enables administrators to allow guests to purchase guest accounts by linking into payment gateways to purchase accounts.
Interface Customization
  • Customize the sponsor user interface text using templates within Guest Manager. 
  • Change the default Acceptable Use Policy to suit your organizations needs.
  • Create a customized template when you need to modify the account details and instructions that are provided to the guest.
  • Guest Manager provides Print, Email, and SMS templates that allow you to customize the information that is printed, emailed, or text messaged to guests.
  • If you want to change the default presentation for sponsors and guests, you can add one or multiple templates that you can store separately on the Guest Manager and modify as desired. 
Internationalization
  • Guest Manager also provides the sponsor interface and guest instructions in many other languages.
  • Languages translated and available on Guest Manager include - French, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, German, Swedish and Arabic.
Billing Support

Replication and Backup

  • Active/Active resilience provides the ability for the solution to carry on working in the event of loss of connectivity or failure to a single unit. Under normal circumstances both units can service requests.

  • Backups are stored locally or automatically transferred to an external FTP server
